It's great to have a 'Submit an idea' button on the Community home page, but why only for AccountRight and MYOB Essentials?
I want to submit ideas for AccountEdge Pro, which seems to be trailing poorly behind AccountRight even though it is the same software..
Somehow, I have lost my company file and all the data entered....and i can't open it back up! Help!!!
Have you found a solution for this???
I have purchased the accountedge basic and have registered the product. Error message pop out when I try to activate the company file online. Would you please help? Thank you
Some time ago, I asked the forum "how to alter the company name in my browse list" - Account EdgeV2 for Mac.
I received a reply : "single clicking on the file name twice. OR right click on the file name. > get info. >edit the name.
Unfortuantely neither of these solutions appear to work.
The name changes are only for easier/quicker retrieval by me. e.g My super fund accounts at one of the banks with which I deal, has two separate accounts and at the moment, I need to open each one to get to the correct one, because I didn't name them in the easiest way for recognition in the first place.

Qutie a few months ago, I posted this same query and received a reply, which unfortuantely didn't "work."
It was suggested the I would single click on the file name twice OR right click on the file name>get info>edit the name.
I have several "company" names listed - in fact, they actually relate to bank accounts names.

We are currently running AccountEdge Network Edition V14.5 for Mac (Release 19.1.8A). Currently when I run a report then need to customise it to show different parameters, the report shows as blank. I usually have to exit out of MYOB then go back in - can you please help with this minor but annoying issue. Thanks in advance.

We are currently using AccountEdge Network Edition V14.5 (release 19.1.8A) for mac.
We currently are not able to email payslips - when attempting to do this the error message is "An error occured sending email". I have gone through the forums and gone into preferences and unticked the YTD entitlements which didnt work, then ticked the YTD entitlements again. Our mail version on the mac is 9.1
Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Using Accountedge Pro 14.5 Ver 19.1.8A Outlook as default email. Monday all emails stopped being sent. I get "An error occurred sending email" then "Error sending Email. 24 of 24 Emails are not sent. Please try sending Email again."
Microsoft Outlook for Mac Ver 15.17 (151206) updated yesterday. Still no emails. Checked Outlook is default in Apple Mail.
OS X El capitan 10.11.2 upgraded this morning.

I have come across an annual leave accrual problem with one of our employees. As I do a manual spreadsheet to always refer to, this has brought the problem to light.
We have one employee who occasionally does a night shift (during the week) and as stated in his EBA, we have to pay him the first 2hrs at time & half and the rest at double time.
The problem is, when he works a night shift, he does not do his 36 base hours which is the hours that accrual the annual leave. He only does 28.8 base hours.
How can I amend this problem, especially for the future, so our employee accruals the correct amount of annual leave per year?

I have started using job numbers to track my jobs. I make a purchase, and note the job number. Then I will select an asset account (work in progress) for the transaction.
How can I find a list of all those job purchases (payments including gst) for a certain date range?

I cannot find a report that give information around Slow Moving Stock.
Currently I have to draw a report out that is partially helpful, then manipulate it.
Far too time consuming.
Can it be added as a standard report in an update??
Can you please tell me how to add the CARD ID column in the Sales Register window? We have many accounts for our customers and sometimes multiple accounts for one customer and find it hard to do a quick search in the Sales Register window without having to run a report manually or create a custom report, when it would be much faster if we could sort at a glance in the Sales Register. Also, some of our customers get their invoices sent to a 2nd or 3rd party, so we use our CARD ID to identify our customers individually and not by where the mail gets sent. Can you please help?

I have a clilent converting from AR to AE. They have an old custom developed report which is about to "expire". The "catch" is that the report uses Order data, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders. when I do the payroll, the payslip is printed with no problem. However when i try to email to my employee, the email will be sent out without the pdf attachment of the payslip.
My employees only receive a blank email the with default message of notify me if they cannot open the attachment which there is no attachment at all.
I had not change any setting since. Please advise.

I am unable to open up AccountEdge. I keep getting error messge:
"Unable to open the lock file; access privliges may be incorrect or disk may be full."
I am 100% sure the disk isn't full so not sure what I can do to fix this. Many thanks.
