Stocktake is trying to kill me - or at least out me as a disorganised loon.

I admit I am disorganised.  I am also overworked, underpaid, misunderstood and overly wordy.

I did a stocktake at the end of 2017.  I dumped the inventory out of AE onto a spreadsheet, loaded it onto my iPad and took it to the warehouse and counted stuff.  Mulled over discrepancies. Decided some needed further investigation, and left it until - well now.

I worked out the discrepancies over the last couple of months (I have 300 SKUs and it took some digging.  Plus also, got two businesses to run, BAS to do, wife to try to keep from leaving, all the usual excuses.)

Anyhoooooo,  to get to the point, eventually, I go to enter my 31/6/2017 stocktake and I find that AE does not allow a backdated stocktake.  What th'?

Beancounter is screaming for the accounts to get the tax in before the ATO sends Elliot Ness to open the front door with a battering ram...  It looks grim.

So the question is, therefore...

Is there a way to get AE to swallow a backdated stocktake?  Data load maybe?  Change the system date?  TARDIS?

Your help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
